Where to boat
Where to Boat on Lake Havasu
The London Bridge channel, Copper Canyon and the Sandbar: three classic stops for a Havasu boat day.
The famous one. A narrow, calm, turquoise channel lined with palms and the English Village, running under the five granite arches of John Rennie's 1831 London Bridge, rebuilt here in 1971. It's busy and slow-speed, so idle through and check local rules.
Red rock walls and clear water make Copper Canyon one of the lake's best-known stops. It can get very crowded on summer weekends. Watch for swimmers, anchor carefully and follow posted rules.
A shallow, sandy area where boats gather to wade and float. Go slow as the water gets shallow, keep an eye on your depth and check local rules for the area.
Speed limits, no-wake areas and anchoring rules are posted and enforced. Check local rules before you go.
